The catch for privacy-minded customers is that the account itself is still verified: Vultr asks for a legal name, an address and, for many accounts, a phone or identity check, and reserves the right to suspend an account pending re-verification. Its terms also state that crypto deposits are not refundable. CheapServ does not verify identity at all, holds a USD balance you can refund within 14 days, and bills monthly at a price that never changes at renewal.
