Dedicated server questions, answered
Is the server really single-tenant?
Yes. You get the whole physical machine: every core, all the memory, the disks and the network port. Nothing is shared or virtualised unless you choose to run a hypervisor yourself.
How fast is delivery?
Servers marked in stock are pre-racked, cabled and imaged automatically, so they are online within 60 seconds of payment confirmation. Custom builds are quoted individually and take up to 3 business days.
Can I add more IPv4 addresses?
Yes, up to a /29 per server from the dashboard, with a short justification as required by the RIRs. IPv6 is a /64 by default and a /56 on request.
What happens if hardware fails?
We keep a spare pool on site in every location. A failed disk, memory module or power supply is replaced within 4 hours; a full chassis swap keeps your disks whenever possible.
Can I install my own operating system?
Yes. Mount any ISO through the IPMI virtual media, boot the rescue system, or pick one of our images. Windows Server is available with the licence included on request.
Is 10 Gbps available?
EPYC and Xeon configurations come with a 10 Gbps port and 100 or 200 TB of monthly traffic. Ryzen and Storage servers use an unmetered 1 Gbps port; 10 Gbps can be added on request.
