How it works

How paying with Monero works here

Same flow as every coin: fund a USD balance, then pay servers from it. Monero only changes what the chain reveals, which is nothing.

  1. 01

Create an account with an e-mail address

Use any mailbox you control; an alias or a privacy-focused provider is fine. Nothing else is asked, now or later.

  2. 02

    Top up in XMR

Pick an amount from $25 and choose Monero. Send the exact amount to the subaddress shown; the XMR amount is locked for 30 minutes. The deposit shows “confirming” after the first block and “paid” at the tenth.

  3. 03

    Deploy from your balance

Choose a plan, a location and an image. The VPS is online in under 60 seconds and renews from the same balance every month.

Monero VPS

Why Monero is the private way to rent a server

Monero hides the sender, the receiver and the amount of every transaction, which is why it is the coin of choice for people who want the payment to be private, not only the sign-up. A Bitcoin payment can be traced back to the exchange that sold you the coins; a Monero payment cannot be read by anyone but the two parties.

We generate a fresh subaddress for every deposit, so two top-ups by the same customer are unrelated on-chain. We wait for ten confirmations, which takes about twenty minutes; the deposit page shows “confirming” from the first block and credits the balance automatically at the tenth. The full mechanics are explained on the blog.

The rest of the account is designed to match. Sign-up takes an e-mail address and a password; there is no billing address, no phone number and no identity check at any point, and the acceptable use policy is enforced on what a server does, never on who rents it.

Use cases

What people run on a Monero-paid VPS

  • Privacy toolingTor relays, I2P routers and mixnet nodes, within the acceptable use policy.
  • Self-hosted communitiesMail, XMPP or Matrix servers for a small group, each with its own IPv6 addresses.
  • Monero nodes and walletsA pruned node fits VPS-4; a full node is happier on the Storage line.
  • Off-site backupsrestic or Borg to a Storage VPS with 1 to 10 TB, paid without a card.
  • Development boxesA clean Linux machine that is not tied to your name or your bank.
  • VPN endpointsWireGuard hubs in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Helsinki, New York, Los Angeles or Singapore.
Included

Everything a server needs, nothing to add on

  • DDR5 ECC memoryError-corrected memory on every node. No ballooning, no overselling of RAM.
  • 1 Gbps portGenerous monthly traffic, then unmetered at 100 Mbps. Never a surprise bill.
  • SnapshotsTake a snapshot before every change and roll back in seconds. Two included.
  • Private networkFree VLAN between your servers in the same location, plus floating IPs.
  • IPv4 + /64 IPv6One clean IPv4 and a /64 IPv6 block per server, reverse DNS editable.

FAQ

Monero payment questions, answered

Docs
Why ten confirmations?

Ten blocks is when Monero funds become spendable and the risk of a reorganised chain is negligible. It takes about twenty minutes. An order placed while the deposit is confirming is provisioned automatically the moment it is credited.

Is a Monero VPS anonymous?

The payment is private and we hold no identity data. What we still see is the IP address you connect from and whatever you put on the server. Use Tor or a VPN if that matters, and read the privacy policy for exactly what is logged and for how long.

Can I run a Monero node or mine on the VPS?

Nodes are welcome; a pruned node runs comfortably on VPS-4. CPU mining is not allowed on shared VPS plans under the acceptable use policy; a dedicated server is yours to use as you wish.

Do you use payment IDs or integrated addresses?

No, and you do not need them: each deposit has a unique subaddress that already identifies it. Send to the exact address shown on the deposit page.

What if my wallet deducts the fee from the amount?

Then the deposit arrives underpaid and waits. Send the missing amount, shown on the deposit page, to the same subaddress and it completes. Wallets have an option to add the fee on top; use it.

Are refunds paid in Monero?

Yes, to an address you give us in a ticket, within 14 days of the top-up, minus the network fee. After 14 days the balance stays usable but is no longer refundable.
