Billing & crypto

Prepaid balance, crypto top-ups and the 30-minute rate lock, confirmations per coin, renewals, grace period, cancellation and refunds, step by step.

CheapServ bills monthly, in USD, from a prepaid balance that you fund in crypto. There are no cards, no subscriptions and no surprise charges: nothing is ever taken that is not already on your balance. This page explains how orders are paid, how top-ups and their deposit pages work, confirmations, renewals, what happens when a balance runs short, and refunds.

Prepaid balance

Every account has one balance in USD, shown on the dashboard. Orders and monthly renewals are paid from it, and from nothing else. You fund it through top-ups from Account → Top up, between $25 and $5,000 per top-up.

Balances never expire. Unused balance can be refunded to your wallet within 14 days of the top-up that funded it; see Refunds.

Orders are paid from the balance

When you confirm an order, the plan price is taken from your balance and provisioning starts immediately; VPS, RDP, GPU and in-stock dedicated servers are online within about 60 seconds. There is no per-order crypto payment and no address to send anything to.

If the balance does not cover the order, nothing is charged: the order is saved as waiting for balance and you are sent to the top-up page with the missing amount prefilled (rounded up to the $25 minimum where needed). The moment the deposit confirms, the order is paid and provisioned automatically. You can also pay it from the dashboard with one click once the balance covers it, or cancel it. Orders waiting for balance are listed under Account → Billing.

Deposits and the 30-minute rate lock

A top-up creates a deposit page with a reference such as cs-…. It shows the USD amount, the coin and network you selected, a unique deposit address, the exact crypto amount to send and a QR code. That crypto amount is fixed for 30 minutes from creation; after that the address expires and a new one must be requested from the same page. Nothing is charged by an expired address, and nothing should ever be sent to one.

Send the amount shown in a single transaction. Wallets that deduct the network fee from the amount entered will underpay — choose the option that adds the fee on top.

CoinNetworkConfirmations before credit
Bitcoin (BTC)Bitcoin1
Ethereum (ETH)Ethereum12 blocks
Monero (XMR)Monero10
Tether (USDT)TRC-2019 blocks
Tether (USDT)ERC-2012 blocks

The deposit page refreshes by itself and can be closed: its status moves from awaiting deposit to confirming as soon as the transaction is seen on the network, then to paid when the confirmations above are reached and the balance is credited. Other states are underpaid, expired, cancelled and failed. Any order waiting for balance is provisioned the moment the deposit is paid.

Underpayment and overpayment

If less than the shown amount arrives, the deposit stays underpaid and waits for the remainder: send the missing amount, displayed on the deposit page, to the same address and it completes on its own. If more arrives, the excess is credited to your balance in full. Nothing is lost in either case, and you never need to contact support for a mismatched payment.

Send only the selected coin to the address

A deposit address is generated for one coin and one network. Tokens sent on another network (for example USDT ERC-20 to a TRC-20 address) cannot be recovered.

Renewals and reminders

Each server renews one month after it was provisioned, at the same price it was ordered at, and the renewal is taken from your balance automatically. You receive an e-mail 7 days and 2 days before each renewal showing the amount due and the balance available. The dashboard also shows the next renewal date and amount per server.

Nothing is charged when the balance is insufficient — there is no negative balance and no debt. The server simply enters the grace period described below.

Grace period, suspension and deletion

  1. Renewal day — if the balance is short, the server keeps running and a reminder is sent.
  2. Day 3 — after a 3-day grace period the server is suspended: it is powered off and its addresses stop answering. Data stays in place.
  3. Day 17 — 14 days after suspension the server is deleted together with its snapshots and backups. This is final.

Topping up at any point before deletion reactivates the server within a minute; the renewal date is not shifted by the suspension.

Cancellation

Cancel a server from the dashboard at any time. It stays online until the end of the paid month and is then deleted; no further renewal is charged. If you cancel because you are moving to a larger plan or another location, order the new server first, copy your data, then cancel the old one — the unused days of the old server are credited to your balance.

Refunds

Unused balance is refundable to a wallet you control within 14 days of the top-up it came from, minus the network fee of the refund transaction, in the same coin that was used. Open a ticket from the account that made the payment. Balance older than 14 days, and money already spent on server time, is not refunded, but every server you cancel runs to the end of what you paid for. The complete policy is in the refund policy; service credits under the SLA are paid to your balance.

Top-ups and records

All top-ups, paid or expired, are listed under Account → Billing with their reference, the coin, the crypto amount and the transaction ID, next to the balance movements (every credit and every order, with the balance after each one) and the upcoming renewals. The same data is available through the API. Records carry your e-mail address and the reference only; open a ticket if you need a company name or address printed on them.
